Why have a separate workspace for each team or project
CS
One shared space for absolutely everything sounds simpler at first than several separate workspaces. In practice, though, it often means that exactly what you need to find quickly gets lost in one big space.
Separate data, separate risk
Every workspace in KoraGate has its own projects, users and permissions. If you set something up wrong in one, it does not affect the other - which is a fundamental difference compared to one big space for everything.
A clearer overview for everyone on the team
When a workspace is focused on one team or one area of work, people in it see only what concerns them - not dozens of projects that have nothing to do with them.
Easier role setup
In a smaller, focused workspace it is easier to decide who has which role - compared with one giant space where roles are handled exception by exception.
When it does not make sense
If the team is small and everyone works on everything, one workspace is enough and further splitting would only add extra administration. Separate workspaces pay off only once a natural boundary appears - a different team, a different type of work, a different level of access.
